I am happy to announce that Alasana`s goal of paying his 2107 school meals has gained some ground with a pledge of $20.

Dear Family and friends.

With the motto “Never give up your dreams” I have decided to make this letter to you as a Newsletter to inform you of how Alasana`Micro-JITIFA projects are progressing.

·         The first project has been a great success in that it gave Alasana the dignity of paying for a full year special schooling and training for IT skills.

·         The on-going second project is to help Alasana pay for 3 nourishing meals a day.

·         The third project will probably be to help the Alasana`s school by paying for Alasana`s roam and board expenses at the school.

Are you interested in getting a regular update of how Alasana` progress in to becoming a productive citizen who will one day help instead of being helped?

If yes, then there is nothing for you to do than to read them and when and if you find any merit in them you can forward them to your friends.

„Gib deine Träume nie auf“ Ich habe beschlossen, diesen Brief als Newsletter zu schicken, um Sie darüber zu informieren, wie Alasanas Mikro-JITIFA Projekte vorankommen.

·         Das erste Projekt war ein großer Erfolg, da es Alasana die Möglichkeit gab für eine ganzes Jahr ihre besondere Schulung und Ausbildung für IT-Kenntnisse zu bezahlen.

he now is now living at the Embrina Skill Center, a private school for the disabled, which he is attending.

This is Alasana`s second Micro-JITIFA project. He attends Ebrima Skill Center in Gambia, Africa. This is a school for disabled students that was started in 2016 by Mr Hydara, the school founder and principal. Mr Hydara teaches, feeds, clothes, and accommodates 3 students at present. He has one teacher to help him teach who at present is working on a part time voluntary basis as he is studying himself at the teachers collage nearby. Mr Hydara is in the process of registering his school as a non-profit organization, and he depends fully on donations to run his school. In Alasana`s first Micro-JITIFA project, he was able to get enough donations to help pay for his 2017 school fees and school expenses. There, you can find more about him him, how he can be contacted, character references and a reference and information about his school - the EBRIMA SKILL CENTER. You will also find his concluding report on the successful completion of his last Micro-JITIFA project and a report by the principal. 

In this second Micro-JITIFA project, Alasana would like to collect enough donations to help pay for the 3 meals that Mr Hydara provides for him every day. There you can find detailed information and costs of the school meals.

“Giving dignity to the needy by enabling them to raise funds themselves to pay for their needs.”

For those who pledged donations to Alasana`s Micro-JITIFA project and donated to Alasana`s campaign, I am happy to announce that Alasana`s project goals have been reached. I have sent the school the funds you donated and Alasana has now the dignity knowing he has paid in full his 2017 school fees. Alasana has written a concluding report of his project. His principal Mr Hydara has also submitted a report of Alasan`s progress. Both reports are found in Alasana`s Blog at https://alasanacamara.blogspot.ch/  

I am sure many already donate to a NGO or a non-profit charity or church program which anonymously ensured that people in need are helped. By supporting Micro-JITIFA projects, you encouraged people in need to write and manage their own charity programs that they learn so much from doing. In addition you give them the dignity of being able to pay for their needs by themselves. One of the many rewards you get for supporting Micro-JITIFA projects is the possibility of a personal contact with the beneficiary and to see the fruits of your assistance. You also get the opportunity of collaborating with your friends in helping someone in need. And all this with just promoting and/or donating a small amount with a few clicks of your mouse from the comfort of your home.

Promoting is like blowing on a fire to keep it burning. Blowing too hard, there is the danger of blowing the fire out. But by not blowing enough, the fire can just die out by itself. I am also aware that people have other projects that they like to help with and there is just so much blowing that they can do before they are out of breath.

Your support makes a big difference to Alasana. It encourages him to continue to hope that one day, with the appropriate training; he will be able to help others instead of just relying on being helped. This gives your support a great long-term multiplying factor.

I would now like to ask you for feedback to help me to improve the Micro-JITIFA concept so that it gets a better response the next time I promote one. I will continue to send out my requests for help. To those who have already supported one Micro-JITIFA project by promoting and/or donating this year 2017, please read my requests for help as information updates only.

Für diejenigen, die Spenden an Alasanas Mikro-JITIFA-Projekt verpfändeten und an Alasanas Kampagne gespendet haben, freue ich mich, bekannt zu geben, dass Alasanas Projektziele erreicht wurden. Eure Spenden habe ich der Schule geschickt und Alasan Weiß jetzt mit Würde dass er seine Schulgebühren komplett bezahlt hat. Alasana hat einen abschließenden Bericht über sein Projekt geschrieben. Ich bin sicher, dass viele bereits an eine Nichtregierungsorganisation oder eine gemeinnützige Wohltätigkeitsorganisation oder ein kirchliches Programm spenden, das anonym dafür gesorgt hat, dass Menschen in Not geholfen werden. Durch die Unterstützung von Mikro-JITIFA-Projekten haben Sie Menschen in Not gebeten, ihre eigenen Wohltätigkeitsprogramme zu schreiben und zu verwalten, die sie so sehr lernen. Darüber hinaus geben Sie ihnen die Würde, in der Lage zu sein, für ihre Bedürfnisse selbst zu bezahlen. Einer der vielen Belohnungen, die Sie für die Unterstützung von Mikro-JITIFA-Projekten erhalten, ist die Möglichkeit eines persönlichen Kontakts mit dem Begünstigten und die Früchte Ihrer Hilfe zu sehen. Sie erhalten auch die Gelegenheit, mit Ihren Freunden zusammenzuarbeiten, um jemandem in Not zu helfen. Und all das mit nur die Förderung und / oder kleine Spenden mit ein paar Klicks von Ihrer Maus gemütlich von Zuhause aus.

Das Fördern ist wie das Einbrennen eines Feuers, damit es weiterbrennt. Wenn zu fest geblasen wird, besteht die Gefahr das Feuer wird ausgeblasen. Aber wenn man nicht genug weht, kann das Feuer einfach allein sterben. Ich bin mir auch bewusst, dass die Leute andere Projekte haben, mit denen sie helfen können, und man kann nur so viel Blasen bevor man außer Atem ist.

Ihre Unterstützung macht einen großen Unterschied zu Alasana. Es ermutigt ihn, weiterhin zu hoffen, dass er eines Tages, mit der entsprechenden Ausbildung, anderen Helfen werden kann, anstatt sich nur darauf zu stützen. Dies gibt Ihrer Unterstützung einen großen Langzeit-Multiplikationsfaktor.

Ich möchte Sie jetzt um Feedback bitten, um mir zu helfen, das Mikro-JITIFA-Konzept zu verbessern, damit es die Antwort nächstes Mal besser ist. Ich werde meine Anfragen um Hilfe weiterleiten. With only less than a handful of people who replied with a pledge or a donation for Alasana, I hear your deafening silence loud and clear.  Many have too many unanswered questions. What is Bitcoin?  How can we trust that this is all legitimate?  And this Micro-JITIFA concept is just too difficult to bother with. To answer your doubts, I have opened a “GoFundMe” campaign on behalf of Alasana where you can now more conveniently and more easily “help with a few clicks of your mouse”.

Over the month of corresponding with Alasana and the principal of the school, I have built up a very close contact with both of them and I am ready to risk my own trustworthiness to assure you all that they are not fraudulent. 

In addition, you can find in English, German and French a description of the Micro-JITIFA concept, issues dealing with “trust” and a comparison of “Micro-JITIFA” and  “GoFundMe”.

Viele haben zu viele unbeantwortete Fragen. Was ist Bitcoin?  Warum sollten wir denken dass dies alles legitim ist obwohl wir von ganzen Herzen helfen wollen? Und dieses Mikro-JITIFA-Konzept ist einfach zu schwer zu verstehen. Um eure Zweifel zu beantworten, habe ich im Auftrag von Alasana eine "GoFundMe"-Kampagne eröffnet, wo Sie jetzt bequemer und leichter "mit wenigen Mausklicks" helfen können.

Im Laufe des Monats, habe ich mit Alasana und dem Schuldirektor einen sehr engen Kontakt aufgebaut und bin bereit, meine eigene Vertrauenswürdigkeit zu riskieren, um Ihnen zu versichern, dass sie nicht betrügerisch sind.

It is easy and convenient to help people with a few clicks of your mouse.

GoFundMe certainly is a great help to help Alasana pay his school fees and attend school, but he still is short. Perhaps the reason for the lack of response is that Alasana`s  project is written in English. I have had some of the text translated into German with the hopes that it will result in a better response. If only 25 donors each find 1 other donor, and they donate as little as 5$, the price of a beer or coffee, then Alasana`s goal will be reached and Alasana can attend school for an entire year.

Alasana Camara is 15 years old from a very poor family from Gambia, a very poor country. Alasana was born disabled. His father was a local farmer who died when Alasana was 5 years old. Alasana is now living with his elder brother. His younger brother is also disabled and his two sisters are living with their mother. Alasana`s ambition is to eventually attend university to specialize in Information Technology. 

Alasana wants to go to school because he loves to learn and he knows that education is the only way that can help him in future, because he cannot work physically like others. He wishes to be able to go to The Yahaya Skill Center, a private school for the disabled, but his family is too poor to pay the required school expenses. 

I am blessed to be in the position to help Alasana. I can vouch for Alasana`s honesty as I have been in contact with him over a month period helping him publish his Micro-JITIFA project. I have also been in contact with the school principal Mr Hydara who helped Alasana set up his email account. 

Alasana`s determination, dedication, perseverance and will power to succeed in achieving his dreams despite his handicap astounds and inspires me every day. I am certain that Alasana will be able to achieve his dreams of becoming a productive working adult and helping his fellow disabled friends if only given the chance.

Es ist einfach und bequem, Menschen mit ein paar Mausklicks zu helfen.

GoFundMe ist ohne Zweifel eine gute Hilfe, um Alasana zu helfen, seine Schulgebühren zu bezahlen und zur Schule zu gehen, aber er braucht immer noch finanzielle Unterstützung. Vielleicht ist der Grund für die mangelnde Antwort, dass Alasana`s projekt in englischer Sprache verfasst ist. Ich habe einen Teil des Textes ins Deutsche übersetzt, mit der Hoffnung, dass es mehr Erfolg haben wird. Wenn nur 25 Spender jeweils einen anderen Spender finden, und sie so wenig wie 5 $ spenden, was der Preis für ein Bier oder Kaffee ist, dann wird Alasanas Ziel erreicht und Alasana kann die Schule für ein ganzes Jahr besuchen.

Alasana Camara ist 15 Jahre alt von einer sehr armen Familie aus Gambia, einem sehr armen Land. Alasana wurde behindert geboren. Sein Vater war ein Landwirt und starb als Alasana 5 Jahre alt war. Alasanas Ehrgeiz ist es, die Universität zu besuchen, um Informationstechnologie gründlich studieren zu können.

Alasana will in die Schule gehen, weil er es liebt zu lernen und weiß, dass ihn nur Bildung in der Zukunft helfen kann, da er nicht in Stande ist körperlich zu arbeiten. Er will das Yahaya Skill Center besuchen, eine Privatschule für Behinderte, aber seine Familie ist zu arm, um die erforderlichen Schulausgaben zu
bezahlen.

Ich bin gesegnet, um in der Lage zu sein, Alasana zu helfen. Ich kann für Alasana`s Ehrlichkeit bürgen, da ich mit ihm für über einen Monat in Kontakt gekommen bin und ihm dabei half, sein Mikro-JITIFA-Projekt zu veröffentlichen. Ich war auch in Kontakt mit dem Schulleiter Herr Hydara, der Alasana bei der Einrichtung seines E-Mail-Kontos half.

Alasanas Entschlossenheit, Hingabe, Beharrlichkeit und Willenskraft, um seine Träume zu verwirklichen, trotz seiner Behinderung verblüfft und begeistert mich jeden Tag. Wenn ihm nur eine Chance gegeben wird, bin ich mir sicher, dass Alasana seine Träume erreichen wird, als Erwachsener produktiv sein wird,
und seinen Geistig und Körper-behinderten Freunden behilfich sein wird.
